Ragalo is a heavy wool half Bolivian, with robust conformation, fine drapey fiber and an easy personality who offers proven fine fiber production. He produces friendly woolly crias with fiber measuring 18 to 24 microns. He has retained his neck, head and leg wool and his fiber measures 24.8 microns.Ragalo grows 6+ inches of fiber each year which can be harvested annually. In 1996 he was shorn from head to toe and it has all grown back beautifully.
Ragalo has added good and excellent quality fiber to the offspring of every female bred to him. If you are interested in improving the fiber production in your herd, look no further! Medium wool females bred to Ragalo will produce heavy wool crias with fiber which is extremely desirable for commercial and hand processing. Llama fiber use is an up and coming market in the llama industry. Add some wearable llamas to your herd. Don't be left out!
The best part about Ragalo babies is their friendly, calm, gentle and outgoing personalities. His offspring enthusiastically and politely greet all our visitors and quickly become farm favorites at their new homes. Breeding to Ragalo will give you crias you can touch and handle, but who still mind their manners. If you have any doubt, ask the proud owners of Ragalo crias and you will hear all about their charm.

Ragalo has already established a good production record. His offspring place in the showring and grow lots of fine fiber. All of Ragalo's offspring had enough fiber to be sheared as yearlings. How's that for proven fiber production?!
